Victor Reginald Gauntlett

Victor Reginald Gauntlett was born in Forest Hill in 1884. At some point his family moved to South Africa and he was selected as part of the South African tennis team for the 1908 London Olympics. He played in both the men's singles and doubles, making it through to the quarter finals with his partner Harry Kitson. He died on 12th February 1949 in Witbank, Mpumalanga, South Africa
